On December 18, 2009 the meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia in Uzbekistan Mr.G.KUBLASHVILY was held in the conference-hall of the Council of friendship societies and cultural-enlightening relations with foreign countries of Uzbekistan.
Academician S.S.Gulyamov, the President of the Council of friendship societies of Uzbekistan with foreign countries, Mr.Z.Abidov, the Deputy President of the Council of friendship societies, Mr.K.Ishanxadjaev, the deputy head of the Secretariat, and chairman of the friendship society “Uzbekistan-Georgia” A.Abdullayev participated in the meeting.
Àcademician S.S.Gulyamov expressed his thanks to the guests and hoped for the further development of the friendly relations between the countries. At the beginning of the conversation S.S.Gulyamov acquainted the participants with the activities, perspective and near-tern plans of measures of the Council of friendship societies. Alongside with that the matters were discussed in the field of strengthening and developing the cultural relations between two countries. Also they had a discussion of important aspects of the further development.
