On April at the State Financial Institute the meeting between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of People’s Republic of Chine Mr.Yuy Khuntszyun, President of the Council of friendship societies academician S. Gulyamov, and chairman of the friendship society “Uzbekistan-Chine” professor A.Vakhobov was held.
At the meeting the President of the Council S. Gulyamov said that about 5,5 billion of our fellow –countrymen lived in more than 30 countries of the world. The intercommunion with the compatriots plays a great role in the activity of the Council. The Council considers that one of the essential tasks is the maintaining the close co-operation with our compatriots in the foreign countries, and it renders help for the comprehensive aids in the preservation of the memories of forefathers, native language, culture and history; beneficiation and development of the presentation about Uzbekistan with the help of our compatriots in the countries where they live.
Also at the meeting the theme about friendship and the role of the people’s diplomacy between two countries was on the tapis. Mr.Yuy Khuntszyun expressed his gladness that the nation and youth of Uzbekistan were very interested in police, economy and culture of his country. Also he promised to propagandize the friendship between Chine and Uzbekistan in his country.
At the end of the meeting Mr.Ambassador said that he hoped for the further strengthening connections between two countries.
