On January 18, 2010 the regular meeting of the friendship society “Uzbekistan-Ukraine” was held at Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, the institute is being connected with the educational institutions of the Ukraine for ten years. The meeting was opened by the speech of academician S.S.Gulyamov, the President of the Council of friendship societies.
On January 19, 2010 the regular meeting of the friendship society “Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan” was held at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, alumnus of this university work all over the world in different spheres, including in Azerbaijan.
Uzbekistan – Korea: the new perspective of the collaboration
On December 18, 2009 the meeting with the delegation of Korea at the head of Mrs. Mun Sin Dja, the President of the Association “Korea-Uzbekistan” of the Province of Degu was held in the conference-hall of the Council of friendship societies and cultural-enlightening relations with foreign countries of Uzbekistan.
As part of holding the measures on the activation of the work of the Council of friendship societies and cultural-enlightening relations of Uzbekistan with foreign countries with the international organizations and funds, on December 4, 2009 the meeting with Mr.Oki Sugimoto, the staff of the representative office of Japan International Cooperation Agency (hereafter as JICA) in Uzbekistan was held.
